Typical workflow:

3D Print → Surface Preparation → Seal → Silicone Mold → Cast

After producing the silicone mold, the designs can be used with compatible casting materials such as:

Always verify that your silicone and casting material are compatible before production.

IMPORTANT FOR MOLD MAKERS

FDM prints naturally contain layer lines and surface texture.

For smoother silicone molds and cleaner finished castings, we recommend sanding, filling/priming where necessary and sealing the 3D printed master before pouring silicone.

Any visible print texture may transfer into the silicone mold and subsequently into the cast product.
