Workflow:

PRINT THE MODEL → PRINT THE MOLD HOUSING → POUR SILICONE → DEMOLD → CAST → CREATE

Once your silicone mold is prepared, it can be used with suitable casting materials such as:

• Resin
• Stone powder casting compounds
• Concrete casting mixes
• Jesmonite-style materials
• Plaster / gypsum
• Cold-cast ceramic or compatible ceramic-style casting materials

Important: Traditional ceramic slip casting normally requires an appropriate absorbent mold system such as plaster. Always verify that your chosen casting material is compatible with silicone molds before production.

This makes the package especially useful for makers, mold makers, craft businesses and small-scale decor producers.

3D PRINTING NOTES

Recommended starting settings for most FDM printers:

• 0.4 mm nozzle
• 0.16–0.20 mm layer height
• PLA or another suitable rigid filament for mold housing
• Adjust supports according to printer orientation and slicer settings

Actual settings will vary depending on printer, filament, scale and slicer.

For silicone mold production, smoother master surfaces generally produce cleaner castings.

Sanding, filling visible layer lines and applying a fully cured silicone-compatible surface sealer can improve the final mold surface.

If you resize the mold-making system, make sure all matching components are scaled by exactly the same percentage.

IMPORTANT CANDLE SAFETY

Standard PLA, PETG and similar 3D printing plastics should not be exposed directly to an open flame.

For directly printed decorative versions, an LED tealight is the safer option.

If producing a cast version for use with real candles, you are responsible for choosing a casting material, insert and finishing system appropriate for the intended temperature.

The digital model itself is not certified as fireproof or heat resistant.

Never leave a burning candle unattended.
