3D PRINTING RECOMMENDATIONS

A good starting point for many FDM printers:

• 0.4 mm nozzle
• 0.16–0.20 mm layer height
• Rigid filament such as PLA for mold housing
• Adjust supports according to your printer and slicer
• Review orientation before printing

For mold masters, smoother surfaces normally result in cleaner silicone molds.

Before pouring silicone, consider:

1. Sanding visible layer lines
2. Filling surface imperfections if needed
3. Applying a fully cured silicone-compatible sealer
4. Testing silicone compatibility on a small area first

This is particularly important if you want the cast surface to look smoother and more professional.

SCALING

The files may be scaled in your slicer according to your project requirements.

IMPORTANT:
When resizing the mold-making system, all corresponding master, housing and alignment pieces must be scaled by exactly the same percentage.

Do not resize only one component.

INCENSE & HEAT SAFETY

Standard PLA, PETG and similar common 3D-printing plastics should not be assumed suitable for direct exposure to burning incense, candle flames or high heat.

If you directly 3D print the model, treat it primarily as a decorative object or use an appropriate non-flame application unless your chosen material is specifically rated for the intended heat.

For cast versions, the buyer is responsible for choosing a casting material, insert, coating and finishing system suitable for the intended use.

The digital design itself is not certified as fireproof or heat resistant.

Never leave burning incense or candles unattended.

ABOUT CERAMIC PRODUCTION

The silicone mold can be useful with compatible ceramic-style or mineral casting materials.

Traditional ceramic slip casting generally uses absorbent plaster molds rather than ordinary silicone molds.

Please select your casting system according to your material manufacturer's instructions.
